Description
Ignore the title, this isn't really meant to be a screenshot meme...I gave up on the background, and I just really wanted to draw Joseph's hair.
Anyhow, I watched Joseph: King of Dreams yesterday, and felt compelled to draw this scene.
Even if you're not religious, I think you'd find Joseph's story pretty compelling and heartfelt...
Quick summary:
Jacob wished to marry Rachel, but he was tricked into marrying her sister Leah first. When Rachel finally bore him a son, Joseph (left), Jacob favored him above his 10 other sons. Eventually, Joseph’s older half-brothers grew so jealous, they sold him into slavery and lied about his death. Through many turns of events, Joseph ended up as ruler of Egypt after aiding the pharaoh with his ability to interpret dreams. During a famine (about 20 years after Joseph was sold as a slave), his half-brothers arrived in need of food. They did not recognize Joseph, yet he recognized them. All 10 of them were there, though they claimed they had a younger brother back home. Suspicious, Joseph ordered them to go back and bring this brother. When they returned, they revealed Benjamin (right), the second and last son of Rachel – meaning that he and Joseph were brothers through father and mother. Benjamin had grown up all his life believing Joseph to be dead.
So this is Joseph and Benjamin's first meeting~
Joseph does eventually reveal himself to his brothers and forgives them.

I love how you gave Joseph red hair, apparently the real life mummified version of Joseph has red hair as well!
