Part of a trade I did last.. month?? ish? for HydraTeeth ! I did multiple pieces and yeet them at his face. >:3 I love love loved doing this, I'm still extremely pleased with the outcome and I hope to get to do more like this in the future tho I'm hesitant on doing such a detailed background again until I do more practice. XDI hope eventually when I'm more comfy I can open up fullbodies like this for Skire beans and other CS.

Oh Soni those layers of shading are beautiful! I really love the way you tied the bg colors into the colors of the character with those rich reds and blues. You're growin as an artist every day you know that? That background is lovely, and I'm really amazed by the depth you've built with the layers of varied building heights.

Like, at first glance you think that the shading is smooth, but when you zoom in you see it’s actually flat-cel and oh my god it just looks so fucking good oh my LORD
(seriously though, how do you do it? I’m trying digital painting for the first time and I’m having such a hard time making it look good. And, I DONT KNOW WHAT SETTINGS TO PUT THE SHADING LAYERS ON. So far, I’ve got the shading on Multiply, the highlights on Overlay, and the extra shading on Overlay)
