Description
This is a Rainmeter skin that renders the Clock Tower from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on your desktop!Previous version with relevant history, credits, etc: Termina 3.1
The clock has 3 variants:
- the in-game original: ticking dials, no seconds
- a modernization: continuously rolling dials, with seconds hand
- a compromise: ticking in-game original, with seconds hand
You can further customize
- the visual theme: color/black/white to match your wallpaper
- the framerate: default is 60fps but this may use too much CPU power to your liking
Thank you to the people who pointed out to me that 3.1 was broken (due to changes in modern Rainmeter versions), and to Barely Humaning for doing UAT so I could release version 4.
Changes compared to 3.1:
- better animation: I recreated the special ticking movements from the game somewhat accurately
- seconds hand (in-game the "top" indicator) moved to a more canon position
- not 9 variants anymore, but 3 variants with a global theme setting
- controllable framerate
- more maintainable code: I actually had a hard time figuring out my own code from all those years ago
