haha thanks, glad you liked the trailer, and thanks for the watch.

Tal is working on a second trailer to follow this one, but its just a lot of work for a couple people to make anymore more then a trailer in any reasonable amount of time, so a movie is a loooooooonng shot.

understandable on that one, though I do love the imagery that has been done so far! *nodnod* Trying to do just one really good render with Reality/Luxrender and Daz Studio takes a long time itself. ^^' some have said over 20 hours for a single shot render.

Yeah renders can take a while, but that's not really what takes up the most time. There are always ways you can optimize the scenes to cut that time down, and letting a computer just sit and render is the easiest part once everything is set up. The real time consuming part is getting everything else ready, models, textures, lighting, VFX, and most of all animation. That is where a whole team of people come together to speed things along.

With a little luck Tal will be able to get a few more people to help with part 2 and it will be bigger and better.

if I could help I would, but I am limited only to Daz, and it wouldn't be able to come out to be of what the project would deserve. ^^' I will work harder than ever though to try to get one at least on par with the other great work. *nodnod* making the stuff ready, though it may seem like it takes time, seems to just pass by without a problem. ^^' the rendering I guess is one that I know of very well because of having to wait without doing anything. xD patience is not that much of a strong suit.

This design is great and the cg animation is ABSURDLY good. Better even than EA's own cg animations within Dante's Inferno. I just don't get why Minos got replaced by this character, nor why do Dante rides a winged horse on the trailer.

Thanks I'm glad you liked it. As for not using the exact same characters and the random horse, even though it was a trailer for a preexisting IP, making it yourself and not being tied down by client demands allows the creators more freedom to try out some new things and influence the design with their own ideas. Give it their own personal touch.

Hmm I understand. Personally I like the Grim Reaper-Styled Minos more.

I might recommend using a lighter background to make your character pop more.  I'm not an expert, but it was difficult to make out shapes from the preview.  Otherwise, cool job!
