Just trying not to lose touch with my creative side of design with all this web and logo work. I hope you like it

Oh, very nice. I like how you created the perspective with the lines and the blurred splashes. The lens flare is a dangerous tool but you placed it well (it looks like light's bouncing off the metallic background). It also breaks the illusion of full grayscale, which is a surprising little touch. My only small critique would be that the splash on the front covers a little too much of the piece - perhaps if it were moved a little lower and left. In any case, it looks good.
Conclusion: be sure to take more creative breaks.
By the way, I didn't submit this as a critique because I'm scared of those things. Deviantart's new gadget things scare me
