I adore this game and Olivia Brown jumped up to being one of my favourite female characters ever with her "obsessed but uncaring scientist" mixed with the fact that she seems to be killing an exotic butterfly in her character art.
So I have to ask... Is that MEANT to be a dead/dying butterfly she's holding? I could never quite see it as skin, but looking here it's maybe a leaf...?
Though even if I was wrong I think that, to me, Olivia will always be the disgruntled scientist who just wants to be able to kill butterflies in peace, and that stopping people interrupting her hobby with their whining about the undead is her main motivation for curing the disease.

Woah, I loveeeed reading your interpretation of her, actually fits so well what I had in mind as I painted her, she def has that personality, as far as what she is holding, after reading what you imagined, is what I want think too, its too awesome hahaha

Woah! The second one - the arms just popping into the frame - yikes! I like the subtle but suitable backgrounds you did on them all, too. They are all so at home in their little environments.
