Description
Edit 1/11/1060+ faves...?
----------
I sounded like such a dork in my commentary when I posted this a year ago....
Anyways, I'm thrilled that I've hit 30 faves on this; looking back at it I feel like I can do much better now. Just a year! Maybe I should do an expo of how much I've improved.

For those of us that played OoC, there is almost a sacred reverence we hold for the game.
You have captured that sense so well with this.
It appears simple, black and white, representing our memories slightly blured by time, but still we make out the shapes.
The empty room with massive structure shows the immense power the scene held in our minds.
And finally, the light that carves through the dark both symbolizes the principle of light fighting back the dark: the principle of the game's quest.
You have done an outstanding job. Thank you.

Even though this is way, way too late of a reply, I deeply appreciate your appreciation. This is one of my oldest drawings and I can't believe it could have such an effect on the viewer. You've inspired me to consider drawing the Temple of Time again, thank you so much!

OMG! It does look like the end part from Ocarina of Time. BTW, I got Ocarina of Time 3D for my 3DS days ago. I played it, and everything is much better in the remake.

I love it! It reminds me of the end of the game, as if it were a frozen moment in time, similar to when link meets Zelda again at the end.

This is very sweet for me. Very simple and I like the blacks grays and whites. It looks a lot better with no color. Like an old photograph that brings back peaceful memories. haha I sound like an old person... Awesome job though I like this a lot.

I really like this! Ocarina of Time is easily my favourite game of all time (though Twilight Princess is very good too), and I loved the Temple of Time - the music, and the lighting and everything, it was such a cool place. I used to have Link be respectful by walking instead of running, when inside.
And I like your drawing, because of the shadows on the steps - it's well done, and must have been very tedious doing the brick wall!!!

Oh my! Such a good little boy.
(And yet he runs around slicing everything he sees to bits, including the gardens of the common people. Tsk tsk.)
I liked Ocarina of Time a lot, but my all time favorite was Majora's Mask. I'm not sure why, but the setting and game play just seemed so much more developed and dynamic than OoT's.
*groan* Don't remind me. Actually, trying to get the steps to follow the right perspective was the biggest pain in the butt because, as you know, the platform the Master Sword rests on is hexagonal. Even now I'm not sure if they're as good as I could have made them.
But thanks for the positive comments anyways!

(Yes, yes, but there are rupees in the gardens, and it's all for the common good, right?)
I never played Majora's Mask. Only OoT, Wind Waker, and TP.
Hexagonal? I'm not even sure how to approach the perspective on that. Is it two point perspective?

(And bombs, and arrows, and magic. Oh yes, just for the common good.)
I've never played Wind Waker. But I'm not sure how much I would like it, considering that Phantom Hourglass was (in my viewpoint) a total failure and it was meant to be a sequel to WW.
Precisely. Yes, it's two point. Trying to work it out was absolute hell.

Link really is a Robin Hood.
I never played Phantom Hourglass, but I will say the cell shaded Wind Waker grew on me. I was highly skeptical when I first heard about it, but it was well done. I still prefer the realism of OoT and TP, of course.

This I have to agree to. I've always been fond of his eagerness to save Hyrule.
Ditto. I play Phantom Hourglass as a time waster when I'm really bored. The only thing that lowers my expectations of Wind Waker (since I haven't played it yet but I intend to) is that the concept of three and seven was repeated in it as it was in Ocarina of Time. And the realism just adds a whole 'nother dimension to it, you know? Even OoT's graphics, which obviously aren't much compared to present day, give it a darker, more serious tone than PH. (I'm inclined to pessimism, you see. I like the dark. )

Thanks for both the fave and comment. ^_^
Obviously I have a little more experience in perspective drawing than in photography/photomanipulation.

Well, first you can stop sweating on my keyboard.
And...
Well...
Ranulf!
I mean...
Oh, I don't know! Figure it out for yourself. There's not much I want.
Moar, eh? I'm thinking of starting a couple new projects. The Eragon eye, as mentioned in my journal, and I still want to do some FE fanart. If you're looking architectural, though, you need to give me a suggestion or two.
And if you're not so bad with digital art, why don't you try your hand a couple sketches yourself? You might be surprised. I certainly was.

RANULF? WHERE? BACK OFF HE'S MINE.
NYAAAA~
Ahem.
What's this Eragon Eye thing?
I'm totally ignorant of everything outside of the little bubble of my life. But Eragon is a book (series?) about dragons, yeah?
Pencil sketches are so messy.
But still, I will Endeavor to do my best.
