I was reading the laters FMA chapters and in one of the panels i saw the picture in the upper left corner. Imediatly I though "...Edward..??" but his hair was a bit diffrent. Then when I read further ahead, I found out this is young Van Hoenheim. I though "Wow! those two really do look the same"After that I remembered a scene in book 11 when Hoenheim visited Trisha's grave and met up with Ed and said that Ed is just like him when he was younger. Reading that chapter I realized that not only was Hoenheim right about how Ed's adittude is similar to his, but also the way he looked. The have the same exaclt facial features, especially those unique eyes Arakawa Sensei designed for them

If you ever saw the flash-forward mini-episode where Winry/Ed/Al lookalikes are wandering around modern japan, You'll see he really DOES look like Hoenheim. Granted, they crop and backlit the snot out of him, but the shown features are almost identical.

oh sorry! I ment to write "unique" but being bilingual i sometimes fail at life like that XD And yes, Ed's eye style is very unique and original. So thats why the second I saw young Hoenheim I though "Ed!"
