i don't know why anyone is so flankhurt over it. i mean, really, it's kinda obvious from the get go. The two ruling princesses are Celestia and Luna, aka the sun and the moon. Twilight Sparkle is the stars. it makes perfect sense. also, she's adorable. with or without wings. bronies need to extend their love and tolerance to the writers, otherwise, what's the point of being a brony?

Love your interpretation of her as well. Definitely adding this to my faves!
Personally, I don't want the writers to go the cliche route, where Twilight gives up her powers for her friends; I want her to deal with it (to put it bluntly). It would actually be a fresh breath of air if the writers instead showed the consequences and rewards of being a princess rather than her just giving it up.
But hay (ah... pun

Nice implementation of her slightly elongated folded wing design. And a good one of the dress and the manestyle. And I really like her expression here. Those big eyes of hers I love so much are reflected well here, and the rather thick eyelashes feel good. And that smile. Love it too.

this whole alicorn thing reminds me of a saying "beauty is only skin deep" meaning it doesn't matter what you look like it matters who you are. this is true with twilight. no matter what she looks like she will always be the same character deep down. now the only actual problem is something this pic points out. all her old dresses need to be redone so her wings can fit thru. other then that it's all good.
