UPDATE 09 10 2017I noticed this image along with others have had the same colour-pallet issue as "Two Sides of History." So I have fixed this issue.

So I stumbled into this looking for something else, and at first saw it fitting Herne really well. His whole view on Hunters and things with himself that he is having to deal. His own demons and those around him. I wanted to have someone to represent those demons, and I went to do Rowen. Who in turn, this song now fit for him really well. Giving his views on the Empires, Lightning in specific, and his view of his brother. And the whole Treaty Deal with Hunters and Lightning. They both see this treaty as a collapse waiting to happen.
Herne is against himself and knows he is not welcome in Massilia, despite being forced to be there.
Rowen is against Herne and everything he stands for, vowing he is nothing like him, and last thing he wants is Herne's shadow hitting him.
So in ways, they are both in song Que, Dancing with the Devil in some way.
Looks forward to how things play out with EBC in the future~ things have gotten tense.

Based on the picture at the least.
The whole picture is a metaphoric telling as is. Rowen, the one on the left knows Herne is alive, but wants nothing to do with him, and pretty well sees that his brother died when they were separated. Rowen is following what was placed for them.
Herne on the flip-side, knows nothing about Rowen actually being around today, he believes he really is the only alive of his blood family. He knows what was planned on his blood-line, but he refuses to side with anything that would turn on you over nothing. Thus going against what was placed for them, because what was placed for them is what caused them to be separated.
Clueless if that makes any sense.

I assume Herne is not Rowen's brother then right ? Is there a third person ? It's NarrethΒ ?

In Rowen's eyes, he sees his brother, Herne, as being dead, because of Herne's own choices.
Rowen and Herne are by blood, brothers, but how they live their lives and things like that, polar opposites.
Narreth is unrelated altogether.
Rowen and Herne are caracal/geoffory cats, Narreth is a Samaritan tiger.

Got it ! You're not fluent english right ? You seem to speak with the same difficultyΒ as meΒ when I try to hold a english paragraph for a long time. Looks way better now. It's interesting that you make your characters personnality reflect through more than just a drawing. Keep the good work :3

English is my native, but I doubt anyone is really fluent in English. More English terms break the rules that are set for them versus terms that keep to the rules.
I have speech impairment, it can get into what I type. Plus there are some things that are not simple to explain. The backstories and connections with my characters for instance. Like I've not even scratched the surface of the entirety of the characters' plots.
So it's not anything bad or insulting, it comes up. XD
Art and writing are what I enjoy doing the most.
