Alrighty! Herne's assignment piece.

Herne's current thoughts on the Hunter and Lightning Pact/Peace Treaty is heavy uncertainty.
He has grown to NOT be a fan of them, as has out-right said so. But has also clearly stated he is no fan of Lightning Empire either. He personally just wants the cubs to be returned. He hopes they can be taken back safely.
But for his own sake... something he has thought about. He wishes to see his family again. But whether his family will take him back or not is another question. Then there is the fact on if he would be going to this. Would Lightning Empire refuse him being brought? Would the Hunters reject or try and kill him if he went? He didn't know. He honestly didn't want to find out.
He was by Hunter Law, guilty of supposed abduction of cubs, six times over, two adults, and harming a Hunter, an Elite at that. Then the Hunters odd are, would stick the credit for the three tribunes being caught on him. He already had a large list of bounty over his head... then the fact they were Empire Cats that he assisted. Both added another stack to his head, and doubled everything else that was there already. The price on his head was steep. Extremely steep. So the concept of facing this... was not appealing... or really worth the while anymore... it may have been admissible, or fixable... when it happened. But now... the likelyhood of it was almost nonexistent.
If he was taken back to Massilia. No way he would have any freedom. Best scenario is he would be allowed to walk the streets. But he would have eyes on him 24/7, restrictions galore, and he would likely be under attack by countless. He wouldn't be able to look after, or even be around those he could consider family still... if they were.
He did not want to stay in Lightning Empire whatsoever. Nor did he want to return to Massilia, due to the likely outcomes.
So his next step in his life he could not make the wrong step, or he was done for.

I'm going to be updating his ref sheet and will be sending some notes around about him... kinda have made a decision on stuff for his plot. He has so much I want to do with him. But some of these things are too close together/overlap too heavily. So some may not happen, or when they happen will be much later.
I will say this here, I personally do not want him going back to Massilia with the cubs. There is no way he can do anything there with where he sits.
