Great! I think fewer feathers are more likely for Acrocanthosaurus and most other Carnosaurs. When did people start running over the actual evidence?

There is no evidence that carnosaurs did or didn't have any covering of feathers in any sense.
So for now either depiction is accurate.

So, for now, I'd say this version is the best. That's just personal opinion, I have nothing against feathers. If it turns out carnosaurs had feathers, great!
