Not real life paint, i did the main colors for the background digitally at a program called krita and added some power point effects to improve it and make the transition between the colors sharper, while the pterosaur was drawn on a separate canvas (again digitally, on krita). I didn’t use a drawing tablet for this, just a mouse, in case you were wondering.

YeaH i drew the background with an airbrusH and basic_mix_soft on krita and then used some randoM power poinT filters to make it look betteR
And the pteranodon (which took me 1000000 years to make because i’m not so good at pterosaur anatomy) was drawn on a separate canvaS and i simply added it on the other canvas as a new layeR
