Description
Doodles of Will Wedgewood, Eliot Hooker, and Luka Alan Smithee of The Wonderful 101, just doing stuff.Sometimes I like to imagine that Will has PTSD, although he clearly doesn't. I just enjoy it when strong characters show weakness. Instead, I think he's more like a worrywart, which is why he takes things so seriously. Although, this heavily conflicts with his behavior during the prologue where he's actually kinda nonchalant. Honestly, the game's writing doesn't keep his personality consistent. It affirms that Will is this overly-serious fellow, but if you really analyze his behavior, he's a total goof-ball. He's far more animated than any of the other characters, flailing around and overtly expressive with his body language. He says and does things that he doesn't seem to realize are kinda silly, but I suppose that's all just in the nature of the game's style. He tends to repeat certain behaviors without necessity, like announcing Vorkken's title every time he shows up to the point that Will should probably feel embarrassed by now. He could possess some mild level of OCD.
I absolutely adore the way the illustrations for "Easy" mode and "Very Easy" mode confirm that Will isn't a health-nut. He appears to take good care of himself, but it doesn't stop him from eating foods that have zero nutritional value.
Also, he totally plays chess.
Uh, how do you even play chess with yourself?
I compete against computers. It's not really with myself.
Oh... Because I can see you sittin' at a chess board shuffling the pieces around alone, probably talking to yourself.
