Description
Decided to install my old nVidia 4200Ti back, it appears it was at least 4 times faster than 6200. And since I wasnt planning on using vista till i get a new system I don't care about aero which this card doesn't support.So anyway 4200Ti allowed me to connect 2 displays at once, and I must say, it's really awesome working with 2 displays!
Don't mind the saturation differences (had to tune the wallpaper so it would sync), since the second display is a bit old it doesn't display the colors as well as samsung, but still for a secondary display it's pretty good.
Now about the desktop, as continued from the last one it's still Enigma, only now I'm using a bottombar with a dock too. Also I'm into Tango-like look.

It's rocket dock, i just set it to 100% transparency

Not using a dock theme, it's just a fully transparent dock skin on a enigma taskbar panel.

Ooo, and surprising the Ti4200 is faster than an FX5200, I know it was a fairly good card back in the day though.
I guess it's AGP? I've got an X1650Pro.

It's faster than a 6200 actually, I scored 371 with it, while 6200 only a measly 79
Makes sense because 4200Ti was it's generation high end gaming card, while 5200/6200 were their generation cheap budget crap. The only difference is that 6200 can run aero.

It wasn't high end, it was mid-end.
Ti4600 was high end (which was then replaced by the Ti4800).
Didn't know you had all 3 of those cards, nice. I've had integrated and now X1650Pro.

Correction: GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X, and back then (almost 7 years ago) it was high end, just like a GTX260 would be today.
Also I had only 2, not sure why you mentioned 5200.
Anyway when I get my new notebook in a few weeks I'll be having ATI Radeon HD 4650 with 1GB of DDR3 memory, comparable to a desktop 9600GT card. So that's surely faster.

I get what you mean but I'm saying there was the Ti4600 and later the 4800 as well back in that same time which were quicker than the Ti4200.
And I always figured you had a 5200, bah.

I think so, rainmeter is using 36MB here, rocket dock and launchy 20MB.

It's easy, there are some color differences, yes, but not significant. It's more than enough for browsing, movies etc. For imaging tasks it's awesome to do this: [link]

Also you can use Ultramon if you want to have extented taskbar and some other features for 2 monitos..
