uhm, doesn't seem to work on my 64-bit pc at the moment although I've used this before on a 32-bit pc and it was indeed great and worked perfectly fine! (but with minor bugs) What I wanted to ask was, "does it mean it's only compatible with 32-bit ?" help pls.

when I was using 2.2 rainmeter, the setup didn't seem to work... weird huh? It said the setup wasn't a Win32 app. I decided to DL the beta version hoping for changes. Luckily, I started the setup again and it worked out fine.... I just needed to make a WP7 folder for Omnimo though. I can't seem to find that folder extracted in the zip file. It's working out fine now I guess, Thank you! This is good stuff. Keep it up amigo!

It works out fine with the beta version (2.3) with me . . I don't have any idea yet why it didn't work out with 2.2 . . I guess it's just me (?)
anyway, thanks for the info that it works for you

How can I get the Chrome Panel to open up to the "New Tab" page rather just an "Aboutlank" page?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

fediaFedia In reply to Dbrnn123 [2012-06-10 19:05:49 +0000 UTC]

Sure, change it in the settings to #NewTabChrome# under OpenMethod.
Oh and by the way, make sure you're using WP7/Panels/Internet/Chrome.ini and not the panel that came with the windows 8 theme (because it doesnt have any settings). You can open it through the gallery.

Dbrnn123 In reply to Dbrnn123 [2012-06-10 02:49:07 +0000 UTC]

I guess what I really want is for the Chrome Panel to behave exactly like a Chrome Icon on a windows taskbar. Clicking it will open the New Tab page, clicking it while it's already open will not open a new tab, but rather just maximize it if it was minimized etc.

Any help? [link] is what I'm working on at the moment. Still a WIP.

Thanks

hi
i have a little question.
when i change the weather code at the gallery, then touch the sidebar's weather, the location of city was wrong, but the temperature was right.
no matter how hard i try, the location of city still wrong.

fediaFedia In reply to chihhung [2012-06-09 10:29:31 +0000 UTC]

From which to which weather code are you changing?

ex:
Instead of showing the city where I live, shows the neighboring town. like a error in StringIndex something like.

fediaFedia In reply to Pedro9666 [2012-06-11 18:24:58 +0000 UTC]

Well, depending on the city, it will show the nearest weather location.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Pedro9666 In reply to fediaFedia [2012-06-11 19:43:25 +0000 UTC]

I found the problem

Change the regexp to:

RegExp="(?siU)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)

(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)

(.*)
(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)
t="(.*)" dt="(.*)">(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)(.*)"

And change the Measure to:

[MeasureWeatherCity]
Measurelugin
Pluginlugins\WebParser.dll
Url=[MeasureWeatherRSS]
StringIndex=3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fediaFedia In reply to Pedro9666 [2012-06-16 17:54:19 +0000 UTC]

Oh, so THAT was the problem. Didn't notice somehow. Thanks!
I'll include it in the next revision

Hi... Umm quick question? How do we reset ini files that we've been playing around with? XD

I kinda messed up with the "Text Application Launcher"'s ini file... And I forgot to back it up :<

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fediaFedia In reply to sYnister26 [2012-06-05 19:54:09 +0000 UTC]

Well, you can open the SETUP.rmskin in 7-zip, navigate to WP7/TextItems/Launcher and grab the original from there.

I uploaded it for you though: [link]

Paste to Documents/Rainmeter/Skins/WP7/TextItems/Launcher

Fantastic! Hands-down better than what Microsoft is doing in Windows 8. Sadly, Microsoft is trying to kill this kind of customizability.

Glad you like it! Microsoft is doing the UI in their own way, I prefer things to be customizable though

Awesome Work!
Fiddled with it for the past few hours (without any programming knowledge) and this is my result:
[link]
I ended up combining and changing quite a lot especially the side-bar which now opens and closes on mouseOver/Leave.
[link]
I also changed the "options +" on the sidebar to a "open applications" task-manager so that I wold not need the windows taskbar.
Thanks for creating this awesome suite.

Nice work!
I'm not sure what you mean about the programming knowledge, I think the project is quite easy to understand. Do you have any suggestions on how we could make it easier for you?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Loginius In reply to fediaFedia [2012-06-08 12:07:18 +0000 UTC]

Yes it is very easy to understand, so easy that even I who has no Idea about programming was able to change stuff to the extend shown in my post above (that was my point 8P).

So, no I dont have any suggestions as it is awesome allready

I had two request.

First, can you make an omnimo skin than can handle minimized windows?

Second, can you make the mail checker be customized to handle another email like from yahoo, etc.

Anyway, this skin is very awesome! I like it.
