I had two request.
First, can you make an omnimo skin than can handle minimized windows?
Second, can you make the mail checker be customized to handle another email like from yahoo, etc.

Nope, there are no modules for handling minimized windows. Frankly, I don't see why you'd want that. The taskbar is perfectly fine. Let's not destroy the Windows experience for some eye candy.
Unfortunately, for now, only Gmail is supported. We're waiting for the SMTP plugin. If you have a 32bit version, you can try a POP3 Panel, you can find it on DA.

Anyway, is it possible to make a panel refresh the desktop?
I made a VBScript(.vbs) that refreshes the desktop and worked fine when ran manually, but when I set the action path of a panel to "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Desktop\refresh.vbs", it didnt work...
is there any way to get this one to work?

Try putting refresh.vbs in the skin's folder. And then this:
LeftMouseUpAction=!Execute ["#SystemPath#wscript.exe" "#CurrentPath#refresh.vbs"]
Is there any specific reason for why you need to refresh the desktop? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the desktop usually refreshes by itself when there are any changes to it.

I dont know if this is a problem on my computer hardware or what. I just hate clicking outside the box i made then press f5 to refresh the desktop so i thought making a one click panel to refresh the desktop would be better...

Looks like a bug with your Active Desktop. I remember I had something similar on Windows XP, stuff didn't redraw for some reason and left trails like that.

Try installing the latest version of Rainmeter. The installation for Omnimo can take several minutes on your system.

Hello! First of all thank you for your great work!! Omnimo 5 + Windows 7 is the better version of Windows 8
Everytime I startup my PC I get an error message if I'm not connected to the internet.
AutoIt Error

Any ideas to solve this problem??

There are no calls for OmnimoApp during startup normally, which panels are you using? If you have the Windows Update panel, might want to stop using it.

Sorry, there are currently no APIs for MSN Weather, I'm afraid you'll have to find the nearest major city if you want to use the Weather items.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the SpeedFanMulti plugin. No matter what I do, GPU Temp and HDD Temp display the same thing as each other. I also can't figure out how the SpeedFanNumber correlates to the list in SpeedFan. I really wish I could get it working, as this is a very nice and very customizable skin.

Hey I just want to report a bug with the media control panel. It wouldn't save the setting of changing the player from WMP to FOOBAR2000 and kept changing back to WMP. I had to manually go into the uservariables.ini and change it that way. I had no problem changing other panel settings the default way, it's just the media control panel I had the issue with.

Odd, I just tried all of them and it seems to be working fine. These things are not case sensitive btw, you can just write foobar2000 next time.

I actually had the same problem with another skin. It was one of the text items, I think it was the time or something like that. It might just be the program that is used to change the variables and the fact that when I started to use omnimo again I didn't restart after I had everything set up and started having this issue. A restart would probably fix it.

The Media Remote refuses to work with Zune (WLM). I have changed the code multiple times and it doesn't stick. It won't launch anything but Windows Media Player.

Zune has only limited support unfortunately.
Also if your configuration window isn't working properly, try opening skin's folder and changing the settings by hand in uservariables.inc using notepad

I'm using Chrome for default. I think the problem came with Rainmeters' beta 2.3. I reinstalled version 2.2 yesterday and now it's working fine. But there's another problem: The german vowel mutations aren't displayed correctly in the feeds. In previous versions of Omnimo there were no problems. Any idea what's the fault?
