Just one question, can a i have different panels active at the same time and browse through them?, like for example one panel for programs, another for games, etc.. can i do that or is it just one static panel that i can move around??
btw awesome work

fediaFedia In reply to PsV1710 [2011-08-14 08:07:10 +0000 UTC]
What? Every panel is a independent module. I think it's pretty obvious from the screenshots.

PsV1710 In reply to fediaFedia [2011-08-14 17:36:41 +0000 UTC]
sorry i expressed myself wrong, i dont mean the independent panels itself, but the combination of them, sort of like page one my panels for games, page 2 my panels for office and editing, sort of like that, and be able to browse through the pages

The problem with the ideas behind Windows 8, much like with Gnome Shell/Unity on linux is that this is an interface more for a flippin mobile phone then a desktop interface.
I own a bloody desktop not a friggin iphone

fediaFedia In reply to SunnyRabbiera [2011-08-14 08:12:54 +0000 UTC]
Then stick with your empty\wasteful desktop + taskbar\dock that looks like something from 2000
And excuse us while we put some useful info on our desktop instead of starring at a boring image

Hey, first of all - this is an awesome theme!
But I have some problems. Everytime I install any of the panels downloaded from your site, Omnimo won't load up - restarting Rainmeter isn't helping. What do?
I'm using the latest Omnimo and Rainmeter version and I'm on Windows 7 64Bit

Try rev 871 (or later), there is some specific 2.1 revision that had a buggy installer and i suspect it may be yours.

Hi, I wanted to say thank you for the great work you did on this theme. I also wanted to ask you and other users if they are experiencing the same bug than me : when rainmeter is launched and I am using photoshop CS5, I cannot clic and drag the mouse (when i'm using the selection rectangle for instance, or when i want to draw something it just makes a point). I think this problem appeared when I updated omnimo, but I'm not sure. So anyone please tell me if this is know bug... and again a big THANK YOU

fediaFedia In reply to L0lo86 [2011-08-13 10:11:58 +0000 UTC]
Weird, I was just making some graphics in photoshop CS5 with Rainmeter running and it worked fine. Try updating to Rainmeter 2.1

L0lo86 In reply to fediaFedia [2011-08-15 14:15:22 +0000 UTC]
I tried the update and nothing changed, but I'm not sure it's caused by rainmeter or the theme... at first my photoshop seemed to behave correctly when rainmeter was off but now it's just random, sometimes the same bugs happen even when rainmeter is closed so the problem might be elsewhere.

Hey there love the skin, just a couple of questions though..
is there a way to have something like "pages", kind of like the Panel Combos, so i can quickly choose between layouts, i'd like to have one for internet, one for media, one for games and maybe another for whatever.
The other question i have may very well be a posibility for the 1st question i have, and it looks like its going to be a feature of Windows 8, Is there a way to select a new 'page' by moving the mouse to an edge of screen and have to slide the panel across looking at other buttons/shortcuts/text-items you have on the panel...?
hope my questions are clear, thanks for any help

fediaFedia In reply to CyPha-Thir13en [2011-08-13 08:41:24 +0000 UTC]
Currently pages is not possible unless you have a really fast computer (The only workaround being launching different themes, which is not very fast). Same thing for the second question...

CyPha-Thir13en In reply to fediaFedia [2011-08-16 04:37:36 +0000 UTC]
Thanks, hope to see something like it soon, would Virtual desktops work, or would that make up alot more processes, (would i have to run multiple rainmeters?) meaning i still would need a 'really fast' computer..?
i'm running a 3.4ghz P4 with 3GB of Ram and 128bit 256mb graphics, so while its not the deadliest machine out there it does the job.

Omnimo doesn't cover or disable the taskbar. I just cropped the taskbar out of the preview images because I couldn't be bothered to find a theme that fits.

Just use the default windows theme. Omnimo as well as any other skin looks fine with it.

None, it should work on anything. It uses about 20-30MB of RAM depending on which panels you use.

Quite amazing as always, really pleased with how this theme is coming along!
Got a few bugs or minor annoyances from my side however, can't have you slacking off already!
* After updating from v.4 , the username in the upper right corner has been changed over to 'Alex' (Got me worried for a sec someone had played with my laptop)
* All the tiles also went back to their default colours, which meant having to reconfigure them all again.
* Final bug I've noticed is that whenever I awake my computer after had it hibernating, many of the panels are missing along with the aero background. To solve this I have to refresh the skin from the Rainmeter menu every time I wake the computer up.
* Also as a final question, will there be (or is there already) a possibility to change the refresh interval of the weather and the news apps? I normally have to right click and choose 'refresh' in order to get the latest information.
Again thanks for some amazing work, will definitely donate a few pennies to your cause!

fediaFedia In reply to Markus-j [2011-08-11 19:17:17 +0000 UTC]
Thanks for the bug report.
The alex thing - yeah, my bad...
The default colors thing is inevitable after the upgrade unfortunately
Not sure what causes the bug with hibernation, I suspect it might be an issue with Rainmeter. Does it happen with any other skins?
As for refresh - I was meaning to do that before, though I figured the current interval is fine. The weather updates at something around once a minute, you can right click, edit the items you want to update faster and set a custom time in miliseconds under [Rainmeter] for Update=
