Updated: new pic (fullview for best detail viewing)Keep in mind, it can be used with the windows taskbar unlike what Microsoft did. I removed the taskbar from the preview because I'm too lazy to make it match the theme
Yesterday Microsoft unveiled their Windows 8 Tablet UI: [link]
And incidentally, their concept was quite similar to Omnimo [link] (which was based on WP7 anyway
)So without further ado, I decided to make some small modifications to Omnimo 4 and make it look almost exactly as the Windows 8 interface, which is scheduled to be released within a week or two.
So tell us what you think!
PS I'm really looking forward to using that UI when Windows 8 rolls, meanwhile you can use Omnimo for at least a initial effect

Hey fediaFedia, i love your work, but is there anyway which we could have panels off screen, and then when we hit a button, they slide onscreen like in the Windows 8 UI Demo, if you carnt do this, your work is amazing anyway

I have one concern that is probably simple but I'm new to this, I am using 2 monitors (both 1920 x 1080. Is there a way I can duplicate the backround so it spans across both monitors completely? or resize its width to double what it currently is?

It's really great, I'm using this style, I modified some part of it for my taste. I made a new autohide-autoshow (it appears only when the mouse is on the left edge of the screen) config to replace the WP7-like arrow button (screenshot: [link] - it's on the left ) and I added a button to it that hides the whole rainmeter. Can you make some kind of this menu in later versions (if someone else is interested in this too)?

Looks awesome, however, on Windows 7 Pro I am getting errors installing:
"Unable to backup from:
C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\Rainmeter\Skids\WP7
To:

Sounds just like a permissions issue with UAC, but even when disabling UAC (requiring login), I get an error saying:
"Elevated process does not have administrative rights", even when running as admin...

Hey there, absolutely LOVE omnimo and can't wait for version 4. Will the 'pictures' panel still stretch out the images? (in the landscape format) as that is the only bit in version 3 that looks odd to me.

How will the transition from Omnimo 3.1 work? Will I have to configure all my panels again or will they be compatible?

It might be like a transition from Windows Vista to Windows 7. You can keep the settings, but I cannot guarantee it won't create a mess. Or just clean install and reconfigure some of the panels (you can copy the settings before that).

Looks Great! I have to ask, not to be impulsive, but are you implementing a more intuitive and in depth color customization interface with this version. That was my only real nitpick with version 3.
