Description NEW VERSION

Decided to update this. If it has to be a Daily Deviation, at least it's gonna be premium quality now.

Everything is updated. Instructions included, make sure to check the new readme!!! Ready versions for almost all resolutions included.

Added 3 translations! (German, Russian, Lithuanian)
Portuguese translation added (by ~joaor10)

I actually did this about a month ago just for my personal use, released by request. The idea was inspired by the iPhone UI , images and the code were made by me from scratch with the help of this manual: [link]

Comments are welcome!

Edit: DD? OMG, thanks, ^mrrste!

fediaFedia In reply to yorukiyo [2009-10-30 17:10:50 +0000 UTC]

You can't use variants in rainmeter afaik, is there a HelveticaNeue Light font? Because Segoe UI has a variant Light and it's separate...

Replace with this code:
[MeasureDate]
Measure=Time
Format=%A, %B %#d
Substitute=\"January\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"February\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"March\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"April\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"May\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"June\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"July\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"August\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"September\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"October\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"November\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"December\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Monday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Tuesday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Wednesday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Thursday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Friday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Saturday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\",\"Sunday\":\"YOURTRANSLATION\"

You have to translate the YOUTRANSLATION part...

I'm having something of a curious issue - I've tried adjusting the screensize from 1280 to 1440, but it isn't having any of it, even if I reboot or refresh rainmeter - would you have any ideas where I'm going wrong by any chance?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

fediaFedia In reply to warmunkeh [2009-10-14 11:33:05 +0000 UTC]

Try this config:

[Rainmeter]
Update=10000000

[Variables]
ScreenHeight=200

[Border]
Meter=IMAGE
ImageName=big.png
W=900

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

warmunkeh In reply to fediaFedia [2009-10-14 19:04:46 +0000 UTC]

ah that worked. thank you my friend!

lopezc71 In reply to ??? [2009-10-13 23:49:53 +0000 UTC]

This is really nice. I started using rainmeter again because of it. Just a question though, how can I get it to go all the way to the edge, like top or bottom, I drag it but it stops with a quarter inch gap

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

fediaFedia In reply to lopezc71 [2009-10-14 11:33:35 +0000 UTC]

By adding y=-14:
[Rainmeter]
Update=10000000

[Variables]
ScreenHeight=200

[Border]
Meter=IMAGE
ImageName=big.png
W=#SCREENAREAWIDTH#
y=-14

True saying (Don't know how to write that)

Btw: I don't know if it is only the screenshot since I don't use Rainmeter yet but on the last of those three hours there is a problem displaced/cut off

I was referring to the screenshot because actually I don't use rainmeter but it seems like there's no problem with the real one

bobakazooboy [2009-10-12 22:07:38 +0000 UTC]

awesome, looks so cool on my desktop, thank you.

if your this good at coding for rainmeter, you should consider a slide to unlock, or some other iphone looking stuff, or maybe even some smaller ones like gadgets. once again great stuff.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

fediaFedia In reply to bobakazooboy [2009-10-13 12:35:06 +0000 UTC]

I thought about that, but I don't see practical use in having a unlock bar since rainmeter doesnt provide functionality of locking the desktop in any way, at least i think so

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

bobakazooboy In reply to fediaFedia [2009-10-13 20:29:00 +0000 UTC]

yeah me either, i was thinking maybe rainmeter had a shutdown feature and you could use it for that, but maybe im wrong, anyway think about making some more, most of the gadgets for rainmeter are boring, or too complicated, your set would not only look good but be functional as well.
