lol yea, i was wondering how they'd do inevitable deaths in key scenes and my favorite was the lawyer at the end and Samuel L. Jackson as everyone was running out, like he was just planking and i was like "lol why is he planking??" XD

Well, at least she won't be digested alone.Β
Though, for those wishing to had seen an internal scene, think about it, she would have drowned as she was devoured with the water, only to be crushed to death by the marine monster's throat muscles even before hitting the acidic stomach. So you would only see a broken up, dying woman being slightly digested along with a pterodactyl that met the same fate.Β
I haven't seen the movie myself, but plan to when the crowd dies down.Β

Something to note though. The throat muscles would swallow her, because the mouth probably will not close fully as the bird was bitten and the body was inside. The force od saliva perhaps would pull her in... together with blood. Perhaps the Mosasaur under the water would spit out part of the bird and go back chewing. Zara would be deep inside. Water would be flooding in. She would be burnt with acid. Constricted for breathing and ultimately suffocate.
OR maybe... she was still on the tongue. Then got spit out a tad perhaps with the Pterodactyl and then he ate them in pieces... given that he did have half the shark in the water.
The Mosasaur caught the prey... once he gets back in the water he would probably then spit the food out or something to just eat more comfortably.
Though for the most part, she probably went down first.
So much ideas lol.

I thought about this too.Β It's seems like the director wanted her to suffer the most and the longest in the entire JP series.Β Even more than the badguys.Β Which was weird because she was a chick who didn't really do anything bad.Β The scene left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended).Β Claire was the more annoying one.Β
I still wish the older brother got it instead.

Certainly, it left a bad taste with me too. I liked the scene, I thought it was epic in a sense because of how it happened. I just didn't like the fact they tried to make her "annoying" for her to suffer like she did. Nobody deserves that, and they didn't even develop her well enough to justify that she deserved such a death. Of course, the idea of it happening was cool and made sense. The animals don't care about who is good or bad, they need to eat.Β That being said, such a tortuous death should have been given to a bad guy at least. I just felt like, the crowd did not connect with her, you found some younger audience not showing enough care. They more reacted as though it was awesome. The characters didn't even care!

Why not come up with a fantastic scenario, it is a world where dinosaurs exist, and dinosaurs been bred into bigger and badder monsters.
Might as well slap artistic licence on it for sake of fun.
She could have phone called the manager to tell her how much she screwed up, and that could be the drive for her to own it and fix her fuck ups.

I guess it just comes off as incredibly unrealistic...there's only so much unrealistic a movie can present until it becomes ridiculous. It would be great, but would the audience (other than some of us voraphiles) want to see this scene, and watch her have a change of character, only to possible, get out of the monster's belly?Β
