Hey! No party poopers.

Besides, in the Return of the Jedi novelization, the guard who falls in with Luke (who, oddly, is the human guy he grabbed the blaster from, not Jubnuk the Gamorrean) recovers his weapon and shoots at the Rancor, but all this does is make it really, really mad and eat him first instead of Luke.

I doubt it and if cartoon physics applies to Jessica it'll be non-fatal but a very unpleasant, intimate full tour through the rancor's digestive system for her. Since real people are immune to dip, which is fatal to toons, then perhaps acids and stomach acids who in a similar way for toons; fatal to fleshy people but harmless to toons. If she survives it I'm sure she'll be much more submissive to Jabba and very careful not to displease him lest she get another trip through the rancor's guts.

Either way, I love this, very nice sequence.
