I said a long time ago that I was a little sad my End Run oc wasn't a lady, so I saw the opening and I went for it, haha cries a little bit

Personality: A wary person who tries to be polite and calm at all times, with varying degrees of success. She tends to listen more than talk and keeps most of her thoughts to herself, though she’s friendly enough if approached nicely. She’s an idealist and a voracious learner, excitable and enthusiastic re: knowledge; once she gets going, Alanna can jump from tangent to tangent with little warning. Quiet as she is, Alanna can be pretty adventurous--she enjoys exploring, the outdoors, and heights, though she is far from fearless.

Alanna does her best to avoid what she sees as unnecessary or futile conflicts and will generally acquiesce or go with the flow unless crossed--the fastest way to do that is to seemingly underestimate or look down on her. A university student-turned-army-nurse, who later joined the newly formed female fighter unit out of spite.

Alanna is the youngest of six siblings and the only girl yet, as her mother would sometimes say, she might as well have been counted among the boys anyway. Alanna wasn’t entirely dismissive of feminine things, but she wasn’t much of an ideal girl-child either--she had an adventurous, inquisitive streak that would not be denied. Her father, an engineer, was pleasantly surprised by her budding interest in science and exploration and encouraged her in all things.

Which was good because counting her siblings and a couple close friends, Alanna had precious few people in her life who weren’t questioning her abilities or motives, up to and including during her time as a nurse. She could appreciate how important her work was--she saw the effects every day, and her mother had been a nurse before her. But arguments happen, and Alanna isn’t one of back out of anything.

Brief History: Chime was assigned to Alanna at the very beginning, and has stuck by her since her first days as a nurse. Though he wasn’t made to fight, he wasn’t made to run away, either--he’s grown pretty fond of his partner and refuses to be reassigned, even though the idea of combat terrifies him.

Brief History: Also newly caught and barely trained; Gillian and Nico are in the same boat and consequently two peas in a pod. They’ve hit it off well; Alanna is waiting to see if this is a good or a bad thing.
