oh woah, now that's AWESOME. I love that idea a LOT. Now did you want the name of your breeding place, to be in the logo? or was this just going to be the picture?
Did you want the horse to be blacked out in a sillouette? I think a nearly pure white horse in contrast with the moon, could be really spiffy. But a sillouette is a nice touch.
Another thing to keep in mind is that a good logo must be able to be workable in black and white as well. (In case you use newspaper to communicate with your area) But I love this concept a lot. Are you looking for more a mystical feel to this almost? Or a down to earth, realistic feel?

the name shouldn't be part of the logo, it will be put under or above it but not inside.
I really love the siliuette thing and thought about two versions..
first one detailed and second one a bit more basic ...like only black and white for printing and as emroidery stuff...
