Description
Im really working hard to improve my shades on drawings. I find it so hard, ecspecially the realistic shades and shadows! My goal is to be able to draw such pictures like this, that looks really realistic.
But since I had a break from drawing in like.. 1-1½ year, it takes a bit to ''come back''. But people are so nice to help me out, with guidelines and other good advices on how to improve my shadows!

This is indeed very realistic. You did a great job at creating the folds and shading. Did you use a reference or a model? You also mentioned that you loved to dance. What type of dance?

Aw, thank you!
- I had no model, it was all in my head. Which made it difficult, heh.
I dance ballet, contempoary/modern dance and jazz

All in your head! Very very impressive, you are amazingly talented. The majority of things I do are in my head as well. A bit of advice that was given to me: Even if you don't wish to copy it directly, using references will help you create more accurate representations. I don't like copying directly from things, but I will occasionally use a photo, or take a picture of myself, to figure out proportions.

Thank you!
I will take the advice too, and try some of it out. It will improve the things i do (hopefully), so there's nothing to lose
