I can't agree with those who wanted to see a slender Rose Quartz. Big CAN be beautiful; size as much as sexual orientation is a factor in SU.

This sums up one of the reasons I love this show: The different body types. The designs are perfect because they hit the middle ground when it comes to celebrating/appreciating the many different body types: It doesn't try to convince people to worship unhealthily overweight women, nor does it try to convince the viewers that any specific body type is "perfect" or "desirable" in the first place. Most of the body types seen in the show are perfectly realistic and achievable without having to sacrifice health (of course, one can argue that the Pearls are unrealistically thin, but I honestly think they have what is known as a "ballet body". My chiropractor was extremely skinny and small, but not unhealthy).

This piece of beauty right here just made my night. Heck it's actually making me tear up a little. I struggle with self confidence and Steven Universe is definitely one of those series that is dear to my heart. Awesome job on these amazing characters!

i really like the idea of this piece, and of the motivation and message behind it. though i will say, i think you kind of missed the mark with rose. you gave her a bit of a stomach, which is good and accurate, but you also gave her a thigh gap, and overall her body shape just seems strange and mismatched.

I know I missmatched Rose and Amethyst, even if I see Rose just "big" and not "fat" (she seems fat when she is pregnant).

I think this is a wonderful way to celebrate International Women's Day! SU has so many diverse characters with so many different body shapes and every single one of them is shown just as beautiful as the next!
