Description
This is a twi'lek, an alien race from Star Wars, and the one that usually SW Freaks represent with less clothes...Well, not in my drawing
I painted the drawing with Photoshop 5

Thank you for drawing this. Fully clothed Twi'lek artwork is hard to come by, and it's very refreshing to see something like this. Great job.

To be fair I remember reading that native twi'leks wear cloaks. I'll willing to bet that underneath the females wear dresses or flowing skirts and tops. I mean it depends which side of planet they live on. Twilight side: dresses, Surface: cooler dresses or skirts. But that's just my theory. I love the asian style dress. It's almost like saying "If a twi'lek girl visited Earth, this is one of many ethnic dresses they'd wear."

I don't remember reading anything about female twi'leks, but i was wondering why they should be half naked, while their masculine counterparts where wearing cloacks... So I decided to draw her like this^^
Thanks for the comment, and sorry for the late answer...^^

While all for alien babes wearing less clothing, I really enjoy a good design of what this species might ACTUALLY wear. Great job. I love the accessories on her head tails.

Very neat, clean linework. The pose also looks very natural and relaxed.
What I'm not so crazy about is the shading; you could've been more liberal with it - for my tastes at least. It's very subdued, to the point where I wouldn't see any of it were I crank up my screen contrast to full.
Why I would do something that impractical is another matter, but still.
And I like the clothes just fine. People say "less is more", but frankly, oftentimes more is actually more :]
peace

Thnx for the comment! Yeah, the shading it's almost invisible... it was done with acrilic painting, then scanned, and then coloured... so, it's a little "soft".
Sorry for the late answer, i've been out of DA for soooooooo long...

An excellent Twi'lek. Do you have any more Star Wars based drawings to share? Or any art rather. Increase your gallery at DevArt!

Ya la tengo dibujada, pero esta muy warra...
mmmh.... bueno, me refiero al acabado, que es un poco suxeante, por lo demas es la ropa habitual de Twi'lek en Star Wars xD
