Khezu is an odd medium-sized wyvern in Monster Hunter; whilst other wyverns are more definitively draconic, the Khezu seems to have leech in its ancestry somewhere. Or a remora. Something parasitic.
Though it can heft its bulk into the air with its wings, the Khezu prefers the cold and damp of caves over rolling plains or the freedom of the skies. Indeed, this wyvern has a fatal weakness to fires and high temperatures, and is quick to flee hunters wielding weapons of that element.
The Khezu is most certainly not a pushover, even with its weakness in hand, though; its flabby and pale hide easily conceals the power and speed all wyverns possess, and hunters thinking that is ALL to this beast will find themselves... shocked to encounter its true power.
