PERSONALITY

Despite having a gentle and friendly nature, Mellow is very quiet when around strangers. He will talk and interact normally if spoken to, but he is mainly reclusive and shy. This tendency stems mostly from his stuttering problem he've had since childhood; though he can talk mostly without stuttering thanks to therapy, he kept the habit. He's very polite and can keep up a good conversation, what makes him well-liked by adults and teachers (mostly) and some classmates. His roommates played great part in him being more confident in expressing himself and bolding up when made fun of, but he's still softer and a tad more insecure by comparison.

Mellow gets uncomfortable easily if certain topics are hit, mainly his sexuality and/or appearance. He acts non-confrontational in those situations, internally panicking in hopes of changing the subject without showing how nervous he truly is. The thought of being judged without being able to defend himself makes him anxious and to wish he stayed home with his pet instead of coming to this party. He shares very little about his personal life and prefers to talk about random topics like plants or the weather, small talk stuff.

On the internet, however, he is in a prime of confidence. Behind a username he can truly be himself, and have made plenty of friends this way. He openly states his sexuality, he stands for what he believes that's right, he can share dumb memes and laugh with friends over the silliest topics. He finds great emotional support and happiness in social media and his roommates Kat, Daniel and Seuta.
