Follow up of [link]While Usiku was away, Mirane tried o steal some food and ended up caught. The boys put her in a jar, she escaped. In a box, she escaped. In a pot, she escaped. In the end they took some bandage and tied her up before hanging her to the dryer/ clothesline, and trying to decide what to do next...

Speaking of scalers, I just finished a sketch of a certain aureate scaler and his frightened little songbird. Well, at least she is in the sketch (for good reason). You'll recognize the scene for sure, one of my favorites.
But at the moment I'm like, 4 hours overdue for bed, and my sister is asleep in the room with the scanner, so posting will have to wait. Bed now, art later.

Little bitty songbird clinging to a wall with a sad/worried scaler trying to help her get down. It turned out soooooo sweet. I spent a long time trying to get the face and expression just right. *clings picture* So damn adorable. Shows the big scary predator's gentle side.
I think I'll call it something like "It's Okay, You're Safe Now" or "A Time to Trust" but might think of a better title when I wake up.
