Description
The Dark Lord on his Dark Tower, as depicted in the books (that is, missing one finger and using a palantir to watch over all of Middle-Earth).Those runes took me some time but man, was it worth it.

I think the only word is fantastic, this is one of the best pieces of art I've seen of Sauron, in full glory

Thanks again! To be honest, this piece didn't end up how I originally wanted it to be. I got bored and rushed some parts of it (no texture on the armor, Barad-dur seems rushed, weird lighting in some parts, etc), which ultimately did this piece no good That's why I'm making another "Sauron holding palantir atop Barad-dur". This one will showcase more of the tower itself, with sauron as a secondary element.

I never think I did see much of Barad-Dur, always thought it was same as Dol Guldhur, forgive me, the names are tricky
So I dunno how it should look But, I can imagine, aside these things though, I still think it's well done, I can imagine a new improved one will be, even greater!

Barad-Dur is the gigantic and overly intricated tower Sauron resides, in Mordor. It's where the giant flaming eye thing was shown in the movies. Dol Guldur is a much more modest fortress located in Mirkwood, and served as a secondary stronghold for Sauron when he was still recovering from his death in the Second Age.

Ooohh right, now I remember! Barad Dur is that tower of course
Saw the Hobbit movies lately, but not the first ones, was explained there I recall.
True, Dol Guldur was only shown in the new movies I think, not sure.
Either way, both are pretty impressive places, though I like Dol Guldur better But that giant tower with that burning eye sure had a nice touch.
