Hatsune Miku is a synthetic instrument pack running on the Vocaloid2 engine–a text-to-speech singing engine. In other words, it’s a software that outputs singing if you give it the notes and words. It's just awesome. I wonder when cool stuff like this will come over to NA. Umm probably never. Although I will be very happy if I ever see Kanon or this come over.Related content

It is available to North America. Since the first commercially released voicebanks for the vocaloid synthesis engine (lola and leon, released simultaneously), vocaloid singing synthesis has been available in English :3
As of the release of the first Chinese voicebank, Luo Tianyi, 3 days ago, it is available in
English (ex: Miriam)
Japanese (ex: Nekomura Iroha)
Italian (ex: Prima and Tonio, capable of Italian and French as well as English)
French (ditto)
Engrish (ex: CV-03, what you guys know as Luka. Sorry Luka, you may be bilingual but your pronunciation and clarity needs work 
Korean (ex: SeeU)
Spanish (ex: Clara)
Chinese (ex: Luo Tianyi)
