About The Species
Featharia are small creatures that are able to manipulate emotion as a source of energy. They do not need to eat food however do like to cook as a novelty. Each Featharia have glowing orbs down their body that serve a similar function to photosynthesis but instead create emotions as a product. Depending on their wing type is how far they are able to search for food and what species they can interact with. They do not hard other animals in any way but serve as a sort of mutualism relationship. Featharia live for 200 years

Interaction: Featharia are able to interact with each other through a series of clicks, squeaks and whistles. When threatened by another the fur along their tail will stand on end and they will direct their horns towards the other and hiss and click however battles do not happen often and usually only over dominance between male Featharia. Their whistles are said to be extremely calming and are often used to send young to sleep. Featharia can live alone or in a tribe of 4-20 creatures. Their tribes are not limited to their own species either, and they usually spend time with other species. Young Featharia play with small animals such as mice, birds and rabbits. They can however be very mischievous and cause trouble.

Movement: Featharia are nomadic and do not settle but rather travel in a group or alone. Mythical winged Featharia are able to travel great distances even worlds and galaxies however are limited to where other species are. They often travel with other traveling species such as geese. They gather storable goods for young in their travels.

Mates: Featharia choose one mate, and stay with that mate for the rest of their life. They are able to produce one offspring in their lifespan. Featharia with a mate are usually in one tribe or travel with each other.

Young: Young Featharia are born without glow stones and rely on normal food for the first year of their life. They are usually able to walk within a week and fly after 1 year. They are born with short manes and small wings that develop over time. Male Featharia are born without horns and develop them within 10 years. They mature at 20 years of age.

Culture: Featharia are good with making and crafting objects. They are known for their tinkering abilities and spend their spare time making objects within their speciality range. These could include clothes making, tool making, crafts, jewellery, and arts. They often perform rituals and dances on rare moon events and equinoxes celebrate changes in the times of year. The Alpha in a tribe is often a mythical Featharia and will welcome and celebrate arrivals of new Featharia or the maturity of young.
