I understand that they might be for fun and games, and have no cruel intentions.But I personally think they are unnecessary. People usually defend them saying they are "criticism", but as Bean said, simply saying "its cringy" is not criticism, its a statement. Neither is "its time to stop", that's not even an opinion, its a meme.
To me, they are unconstuctive criticism. Such things should not be supported, even if they are funny.
Most of the artwork featured in these are from beginners and young children. Instead of being discouraged this way, they should be encouraged to keep trying. Nobody starts off as a great artist. Though, in my opinion, art is subjective, and therefore all art is equally good.
Then people put in some works that look professional for no reason other than they dislike the fandom its based on. How is that real criticism? So they can only improve by drawing characters not in a fandom? But literally everything has a community or fandom! its implying they should just stop!
I know the people who watch and make these are only looking for harmless fun, but we should consider the people we are targeting. HollyBean and I personally would not care if we were in one of these videos, but that might be different for other people.

99% of Cinge-Comp makers are just edgy memers who, despite the whole "iz all joks n shiet", we know they really just want to try to make people their feature feel awful, and send their meme-headed edgelords afer them.

I don't think their horrible, ( I mean do watch people like deviant cringe ) , but some people take things way too far, sometimes it goes to the point of bullying, I mean yeah I find stuff cringy, doesn't mean i want to make fun of those who are though.

It honestly bothers me especially when they don't think they're being bullies, when this concept (people like different things and that should be respected) should have been drilled onto their brains at Kindergarten.

People have good intentions when trying to prevent bullying but they never are solid about it. They never tell children, and everyone for that matter, why they should not bully someone. They just say "Don't do it it upsets people". People should consider also adding how it can affect someones future mental stability which could potentially harm others, including themselves (the bully) or their loved ones.
It should be instinct on why people should treat others nicely, but some lack that instinct, which is a big shame.

I agree, but I enjoy watching them so I feel better about myself and my work. I do not watch them to poke fun at others. But it is annoying when some genuinely good things appear on them for not reason other than they are in a fandom.
However, I do think that if you post something online you should be prepared for harsh criticism. It does not mean its OK, but one shouldn't get upset over it. You have the choice to ignore critics.

But on the other hand, they should accept that there will be things they dislike on the internet, and should not call them out on it without valid criticism. And sometimes its hard to ignore critics when they constantly target your work and not be constructive about it. So I do not blame them for being really upset over it.
I highly suggest you try not to watch them but instead watch the original videos, so you will not give support to those who unfairly target others. It is up to you though.

It depends. I will try to watch the ones that show genuine weirdness. But not the animation ones. I am getting tired of them anyways.
