I think its rather useless to argue about the gender of a shapeshifter.
Though personally, I do prefer thinking of this particular one as male.

Also, I'm currently at the third Devils Dealings chapter and liking it.

thank you very much, however in later chapters there is less vore and belly's as the story takes on a more action packed theme still hope you'll like it don't forget to fav and comment on the series
