So here's my not quite finished Mindfang costume from KitaCon! There is a WHOLE bunch of stuff I need to add to finish her - Shoulder armour, butt cape, remake the shirt into a jacket, actually wearing my gloves instead of letting Frazzy use them XDMatt did some other amazing photos of our Ancestors group, which you can see more of with *owntempo , ~DahliaGrimm and ~Eternal-Aranel on tumblr here , here and here !! I just made a plain black top and used an applique technique to
sew on all of the embellishments~

They're made of fimo, painted and attached to a
hairband under the wig with screws for security!

I really love the dress! Where or how did you get the pattern for it? I'd like to make one for noncosplay/normal wear, if you don't mind sharing.

I made the pattern from scratch with the help of a friend.
We used a piece of material and took it in creating seams
all the way around, then after each one cut out the pieces
and refined it from there, eventually working out the shape
of the skirt and adapting it to skirt piece.
I hope that makes sense? Like I said, it was made from scratch
so I'm not really sure where to go looking for one Xd;;

I'd appreciate more details, like how you got the measurements and the basic pattern, maybe even a simple tutorial because I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes the cut, but I understand if that's too much to ask for.
