I won't be surprised if he's related to someone in the Royal family.

Seems to be the possible answer, considering how Ozpin let Jaune enter Beacon with forged transcripts right off the with no issues at all despite the rules for Huntsman academies.

I remember reading somewhere that fans have theorized that maybe Jaune's sisters are all very powerful Huntresses or something. XD

Considering her father is said to be "cruel", I wonder how Ozpin got her out of the castle, cause clearly with how large it is her father is likely a king to go by it's grandeur. Also, humans in the past use to wield magic, which makes me wonder what happen to cause them to lost it permanently and have it replaced with semblances and aura later on. From the architecture alone on the castle is incredibly ornate, meaning humans in the past had possibly use to live in grand cities until something cause humanity to go into a dark age, likely from the fallout between Salem and Ozpin.

Amazing what love can make anyone do to gain back loved ones, unfortunately, it got her and the rest of old humanity to be effectively annihilated and punished by the twin gods, forcing the rest to restart from scratch, bought about the birth of faunus and eventually Ozpin's first reincarnation back into the world to "destroy" her. Tragically, due to her attempts of suicide, one them resulted her to gain the appearance we all know now back in volume 3 and eventually loss of reasoning and sanity for her, which led to her and Ozpin becoming bitter enemies for thousands of years, up to point where he is forced to defend the new humanity from Salem's self-destructive plan to annihilate everyone, including herself to hopefully to "die" and for him to try find a way for her to accept loss and move on peacefully.

Still, I pity Ozpin, force to fight the one he use to call his lover just because she couldn't accept him dying and forced to try and find away to bring her peace so humanity won't suffer from her nihilistic plan to have them be manipulated and wiped by the brothers for "failing" to redeem themselves in their eyes.

Also for the twin gods, rather cruel punishment on her, considering her mind at the time was consumed by grief and due to her upbringing, she couldn't comprehend losing someone close to her, so she was willing to do anything to get him back, which tragically backfire for both him and her immensely to the point where both are trying to find ways to pass on to the afterlife.

Well, love often makes people do crazy stuff. Salem is a real tragic character who just wanted her love back and the gods being the pricks they are screwed her over and set the escalation in motion.

Yeah, that's true. However the gods' basically tell Ozpin this: Make sure mankind is united or else we will Thanosed everyone on your planet.

This is a whole level of screwed up if you ask me.

Pretty much, the illness that claimed his life, set the chain of events that let to what Remnant's current condition and their current relationship in the present day.

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-11-25 22:45:00 +0000 UTC]

Yep, and at first she decided to cleanse the new humanity off the face of Remnant for the her children's offspring, but now wants to have them divided long enough for her to gather the relics call the gods back to initiate the "consequences" if Ozpin failed to unite them, which leads to a permanent annihilation of the second generation of humans. I also hope for Ozpin's sake that the brothers' "redemption" of humanity hopefully requires at least a majority of them united, not the whole population of Remnant considering how there always will be conflicts one way or another starting up and those who don't care for the world and cause conflicts as well.

I hope Ozpin because it's a better one, and there would be a big problem for mankind!

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-11-29 00:13:35 +0000 UTC]

Pretty much, considering how much hate is running through the second coming of humanity, it will take incredible amount of effort for Ozpin to them to let go of it, especially after the Great War and the Racism with Faunas.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

victortky In reply to austinaltares2015 [2018-11-30 06:17:52 +0000 UTC]

Yeah and it keeps getting worse.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-11-30 06:44:15 +0000 UTC]

Sadly yes, because people from both sides don't help the issue at all, mainly racist idiots from humans, mainly those who are blinded by cruel beliefs from those that raised them with it, people that can never let go their hatred as if they be wronged and the now Jacques controlled Schnee Corporation, who literally runs the faunas workers under his employment into the ground, causing hatred to flair up from them in turn.

For the Faunas, mainly fools who let their bloodlust and hatred consume them to the point they will lash out at anyone they deem a "traitor" to their kind, even though they simply want to live in peace with their loved ones in peace and tragically as well the White Fang when it was led by Sienna, who unintentionally allowed monsters like Adam run amuck around Remnant, believing they're doing "justice" for their fellow faunas, not realizing until her death, that the new White Fang is now filled with Extremists who are willing to harm their own kind for "independence" and "freedom", who causing more trouble for them overtime.

victortky In reply to austinaltares2015 [2018-12-07 15:01:28 +0000 UTC]

Well, and not to mention the Faunus are also mistreated by Mankind as a whole as well.

True, and look what happened to the White Fang which had allowed their extremists to run rampant.

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-08 22:44:52 +0000 UTC]

Mmhm, potentially given a harsher future on any later generation of Faunus because of the extremists running the White Fang now, unless something happens during the show to put a stop senseless racism from both sides.

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-10 22:00:27 +0000 UTC]

Pretty much as he is a genocidal supremacist who is willing to hurt other Faunus for the new violent White Fang that Sienna allowed to grow uncontrollable to the point where even she is view as too "soft" on the "enemy" and in general causing trouble for everyone in Remnant, which Salem is happy to take advantage of easily in turn.

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-15 23:09:18 +0000 UTC]

Pretty much, she was blinded by racism just as much as the humans she despises so much that she didn't notice the damage and influence that Adam and his fellow extremists had until they finally killed her off in Volume 5 to realize he's a threat to EVERYONE, not just humans due to do his irrational and unstable mindset, Main examples of this are Incursion of Vale and Battle of Beacon, he is willing to sacrifice hundreds of innocents lives just for "freedom" and "independence" for Faunuskind which in truth in just feeding the fires of hatred even more for Salem to work off more for her plans and for the grimm to attack more frequently.

Yeah, she's smart to take advantage of any situation that occurs in Remnant, which right now is the fallout of the Attack on Beacon and the violent White Fang as a way to draw more grimm to the kingdoms.

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-18 23:41:20 +0000 UTC]

Mmhm, great example of this is Lionheart, who use to be one of Ozpin's top followers but once Salem met him personally, she broke him into a person who sold the lives of Mistral's huntsmen and allowed Cinder to enter Beacon without no trouble to commence the Attack of Beacon and obtain the remaining powers of the Fall Maiden from Amber and rat out Ozpin's current reincarnation to her as well and once he lost usefulness, promptly killed him off with no trouble in regards to her plans.

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-19 06:14:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but it seems that she induce a feeling of hopeless and useless into him and he in turn became the cowardly, traitorous man we see now today. From how frightening she is just by mere mention of her name, only really few people can stand up to her and unfortunately that is dwindling overtime due to her systematic assassinations of silver-eyed warriors and powerful huntsmen across the four kingdoms.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

victortky In reply to austinaltares2015 [2018-12-23 15:43:11 +0000 UTC]

And that's very frightening in my opinion.

Of course, and her very goal will result in the total annihilation of all life on Remnant.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-24 00:29:52 +0000 UTC]

Pretty much, she is probably one of the most successful villains in recent media in terms of plans succeeding and following through as she pretty much has all four kingdoms under a tight leash and could easily snuff them out if she wanted to at all, but no, she wants to make their demise slow and agonizing prior to the brothers arriving.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

victortky In reply to austinaltares2015 [2018-12-26 15:38:01 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I agree. I wonder why she doesn't just march out and destroy the Kingdoms already?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2018-12-27 07:27:10 +0000 UTC]

Considering how her mindset is, she's being spiteful to her former husband and bitter to all life on Remnant to eventually have the gods potentially kill everyone off with her main plan, after all beware when a lover is scorned and hateful of others around them.

Also we're finally seeing some of the racism that has been affecting the Faunus from of course, Atlas, and boy the ones in charge of important places and position have a superiority complex with those not from Atlas.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

victortky In reply to austinaltares2015 [2019-01-07 06:43:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's a possible way...use the gods again to end all life on Remnant. Although whether they will kill her too is still up for debate.

Atlas sure has a some beef for the Faunus for some odd reason.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2019-01-07 09:14:04 +0000 UTC]

Even if the plan was successful, she probably still not die to still not understanding mortality which is what both brothers cursed her with.

Yeah the racism they have against Faunus is rather oddly more pronounced with those being born in the inner region of Atlas noticeably compared to the other kingdoms, so something bad had to happen causing this, possibly Sienna's White Fang until Adam killed her and took over.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

victortky In reply to austinaltares2015 [2019-01-07 13:07:41 +0000 UTC]

Unless the brothers take away her immortality and kill her as well.

True, and now things got worse.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

austinaltares2015 In reply to victortky [2019-01-08 01:39:51 +0000 UTC]

The brothers probably won't take it away to maintain the punishment put on Salem, which will likely break her even more.

Yeah, now with Adam been confirmed following Blake and her friends still trying to get payback for her "abandoning him" and working with humans, still surprised how stubborn he is to follow her all the way to Atlas of all places, considering the tension with the kingdoms after the festival and racism that is more apparent there especially with the ones in charge of important positions, aside from Ironwood for right now.
