Remember when the Maidens were powerful and revered as one of the strongest forces in the world? Yeah, now we have a Fall Maiden with a soul-draining arm get owned by this very skilled, but otherwise ordinary woman.

To be fair, Cinder was clearly holding back until she had to use the maiden powers to show that Neo was out of her depth.
Whether this was out of trying not to kill Neo or just not wanting to out herself to a full bar is anyone's guess.
