made progress this weekend on the Queen here. she's getting weirder and i love it. the roses are my favorite part right now. the pearls in her hair are not making me happy. they are a good idea, but i am not sure i love the long hanging ones yet.!!! Full view is best!!!!

I think its GOOD! The only thing I have a bit of trouble with is her legs...they look wrong...other than that minor thing looks good!

Looks like a good start. The roses are indeed very good, and the pearls look just fine to me. The current sepia-black-red color scheme is very pleasing to the eye as well.

i concur about the hanging pearls. they do need something else, maybe spacing them differently for depth or something. otherwise, very weird and very enjoyable!

thanks. i don't know if i will actually fix the pearls or not at this point, it was such a pain to do them at all. you know how sometimes you just don't want to retackle the problem?

can't wait to see the finished product! though you may want to make the cloth around her eyes "tighter" so as to make it more believable. it's hanging miraculously loose without support right now.
