well that's something different...i have no idea what i've drawn
i uploaded the sketch to my scraps a long time ago but never finished it. (i finally did xD)

omg when i shade like this i can finish a picture in half
the time it would take me with gradient shading xDxD
but it looked so different in my head

this type of shading is better than gradient shading

i like the gradient shading because of the clean and shiny aspects
but i also love the painting style because it gives the drawing a more pure and natural look
though it depends on what i'm drawing too,
i prefer gradient shading when i draw chibi characters,
and i prefer the painting style when i'm drawing more realisting creatures or designs ^__^
so i try to alternate
