Description
Alternate title: CAP SMASH!!The main character for a graphic novel idea I'm working on, I'm just try throwing down images and trying to get a feel for her character at the moment. I'm rapidly coming to realise that I suck so bad at writing so I'm hoping if I can get a good enough handle on the characters, they'll make writing the nitty gritty that much easier.
Here's hoping!
I referenced a lot of Matt Rhodes' art here, I just love the amount of feeling he conveys in his colouring.

Ooo, this reminds me of that old Disney movie Treasure Planet! This is a lot more sophisticated and cool looking, though. c:

Haha, actually after I first started playing with the ideas of these characters / this setting my girlfriend bought Treasure Planet on DVD, saying how much they reminded her of it. I can definitely see the resemblance

That's a great character ! She reminds me a bit of the cel-shaded Prince of Persia, which is probably one of the best use of that style. It would be amazing if you could somehow animate her

I know, I'd freaking love to learn more about animation! I've dabbled in some little things, balls bouncing and a couple of little things with a pillow-person but I've not worked my way up to people yet. One day, maybe, it just requires so much time that I don't have =/

Very cool design! Something about the boots throw me off but it doesn't stop her from being an interesting, well designed and cool looking character
