She's really made a name for herself in the fantasy genre and your depiction captures her power. The mode in this piece is near melancholic (most likely from the color scheme).
She may be shedding that tear for the hundreds of her offspring that must die each day because of her rebellion.
I like how I can tie the myth to this-well done.

She was indeed linked to maky parts oif the feminist movement and I believe people really embraced her myth and how it seems to resonate in the modern era. I've actually made an essay for unviersity dealing with her and I must say, she's an absolutelly fascinating character.
