Emily always loved the River. It was their favorite place to be when they were together. A bit of a memorial site for when their relationship began, and where it evolved. As she looked out with a smile, watching the Ducks full of life, she pressed her warm and slightly perspirated feet down onto the Nike Sandals beloe them, protecting them from the hard, rocky and soiled ground.

These were her favourite pair. Every summer she'd wear them every day, and they had a very special aura. Infact, the aura was almost lifelike.. it had a tinge to it. Whenever she wore it, she felt the sandal hug her toes, sometimes it would recoil if she forgot to shower, only to eventually give up and go back to caressing her.

His view was slightly obscured, his tongue felt perspirated, worn and down and rubbed down after months of use. The weight of his girlfriend an ever looming presence crushing the roof of his mouth back to the bottom, closing it without his volition. Something he'd lost the ability to do on his own.

In his mind though, he was happy. The rocky ground on his back digging into him without any way for him to relieve the pressure, he knew that the feet above him were kept safe. Her day wouldn't be ruined, and he got to enjoy the somewhat fresh air.

A powerless life was somewhat peaceful, after all, At least this way he would never lose or fail his dream girl.
