Acrylic on canvas, 60cm x 30 cmI have had this painting unfinished for nearly a year, then decided a couple of weeks ago to pick up and finish it. This is a sluice gate in some woods not far from my house, but it looks like a gateway to another world. Who knew flood defenses could be pretty?
Also I hate the tree in the top right with a blinding passion but I feel like if I reworked it again I would only make it worse
