Very very nice work FJ. The colouring is great, nice vivid colours and the pencil rendering is great. My favorite part of the pic is the yellow armour covering on the front of him. He sure didnt look like that in the disney version, but its good to see you did your own take on the character. Nicley done.

This is truly amazing work- way outta my league. I mean... this rendition of Mushu is incredible, the coloring, the placement of the scales, the horns, the eyes, every little nitpicking detail, and so on. This is really awesome... even Cri-Kee is so cute as a realistic cricket ^__^ I can't draw realistic pics for ####, I'm so used to cartoonish style artwork for so long that my realistic pictures look like cartoons >.< All my realistic work is just.... ECH!! But yours is done so beautifully, I think you just picked up another fan ^__^

Thank you so much. It really is hard to break away from cartoons once you start drawing them. I kinda stopped drawing cartoons cold turkey and did what I thought my favorite cartoon characters would look like realistically. The allure of cartooning is that you can wind up with a decent looking product fairly quickly as compared to taking a risk and spending a long time on something. My best advice is to take those risks or you'll never know what you're really capable of.
