Chapter VIII - "Peace Treaty"~
Helen stepped into the backyard to see a happy Bob and Jack-Jack but the lack of Dash had her concerned so she approached Bob who smiled at her before speaking up,
"There you are, honey. I was beginning to think you'd miss my famous barbecue cooking. Burgers won't be ready for another hour." Helen gave a smile despite her mind being on something else,
"I'm sure it'll taste great, sweetie." Then she glanced around, "Do you know where Dash is? I feel like he should be home by now." Bob responded by giving a frown and hesitated to speak,
"Yeah...uh...he called before you came home. He said that he was just going to eat out tonight. 'Somewhere he's not watched like a hawk' he said." Helen immediately sighed then pinched her own brow,
"...What did I do? Did I push our son away?" Bob put his hand on her shoulder,
"I warned you about this, Helen. Guys his age don't like to be babied. I know you were trying to be a good Mom but maybe it's time you see things from his point of view." Helen stood there, pondering Bob's words for a bit before glancing back up at Bob,
"Maybe you're right, Bob." Helen turned and walked right back toward the yard gate, giving Jack-Jack's hair a quick ruffle along the way, "I think I know where he is. I'm going to try and fix this."
~
Helen pulled into the parking lot of a diner, it was a 50s styled diner with an neon sign on top displaying the name "Lassie's Diner" in bright red. Helen parked the car at a perfect spot to give her a perfect view of Dash in a window seat, she was about to exit the vehicle when she hears a familiar voice,
"The moment the kid sees you, he is just going to start running." Helen slowly looked into her rear-view mirror,
"Piss off, Edward." Edward's face had replaced hers in the mirror, he shook his head in disappointment,
"Believe it or not, Helen but I'm actually trying to help you here. I know what it's like to be an angry teenage boy...and I think you do to if you remember hard enough." Helen sighed, tightening her grip on the steering wheel,
"Edward, I don't WANT to remember. I've spent the last twenty years trying to forget you and everything that happened. Ever since you came back, you've made my life hell."
"Hate to break it to you, Helen but before I came back, you were miserable. You were this close to snapping in public and making a scene. Somehow your stress led to me coming back and I tried to relive you of that stress." Helen gets another flash of Edward's time in control, remembering Veronica with Helen seeing herself shoving her monster-sized penis into her friend,
"We can't just...have sex with every woman, Edward." Edward shrugged in the mirror,
"Let's agree to disagree. Besides...your body seems to agree with me." Helen glanced down to see a bulge form as her penis grew back into place, "Look Helen. The fact is that your kid is mad at you and I don't want to see your family torn apart. Give me a chance to talk to Dash." Helen glares at Β Edward for a bit, clearly pondering the situation.
~
Inside the diner, Dash was sitting alone at a window booth when a familiar face walked through the door on the other side of the diner: it was Edward dressed in all leather and fixing his blonde hair. He casually walked through the diner, glancing at a very busty waitress along the way before stopping at Dash's table,
"Hey, man." Dash remained still though he looked nervous so Edward gestured to the seat across from Dash, "Mind if I join you?" Dash just shook his head,
"No, go ahead." Edward immediately sat down only to be spoken to by the busty waitress,
"Can I get you anything to drink, sir?" Edward looked up to see that the waitress, who he could see was named Zelda via her nametag, had approached with a flirty smile so Edward responded, clearly staring at her bosom,
"Milk. Chocolate milk" Quickly saving himself from making a joke that might have caused some drama,
"Alright. Chocolate milk it is...cutie." She winked at him then walked off with Edward gladly glancing back at her rear. Dash was a little amused by the whole scene but then he asked,
"So how did you find me?" Edward turned his attention back to Dash,
"Right. Well your Mom helped. She said this is the only place that serves your favorite food. Chili dogs, right?" Dash just scoffed with amusement,
"Of course she did. I'm surprised she didn't come here yourself." Edward chuckled a bit,
"Actually she did. She's right outside, waiting for me to get done here. I convinced her that maybe she should probably wait otherwise you might run off." Dash shook his head as he took a sip of his glass of soda,
"Well you were right. I don't really want to see her again. Ever." Edward sighed a bit,
"Look, I know how you feel, man. You want to have a bit of freedom but someone keeps trying to hold you back. Believe me, I get it. But thing you gotta keep in mind is that it's Helen's job to look out for you. It may not be convenient and she may get a little out of hand but giving her the cold shoulder and silent treatment? That'll break her heart. She loves you, man. Always has, always will." Edward glanced to the window to his side and saw his reflection was replaced by Helen who looked stunned at Edward's words,
"...And I love her too. That's never changed. I just...I just wish she'd stop treating me like a baby is all." A single tear dropped down Dash's face with a sniffle and that's when Edward heard Helen speak,
"Oh, Dash..." Edward glanced to her once more as his glass of chocolate milk arrived,
"On the house." Zelda said with a smile making Edward smile back before she walked off,
"Thanks." Edward chugged it down as Dash spoke,
"Maybe...Maybe I should apologize." Edward then nodded,
"I'm not going to tell you what to do, Dash. You're not my son and you're practically a man now but can say that that is a good idea. But I don't think you're the only one who needs to apologize." Edward stood up from the booth, dropped off some cash for his drink, then walked towards the door he entered from. Just before reaching the door, his chest expanded into two breasts, showing his transformation start.
~
Minutes later, Helen in her regular blouse and womanly clothes stepped inside the diner and looked at her son with a smile. Helen would then step forward, she too looked to Zelda for a couple seconds but her attention remained on Dash,
"...Okay if I sit down?" The very silent Dash just nodded before his mother sat across from him. She was nervous, unsure what to say until she just reached across to grab her son's hand,
"Edward told me what you said. Dash...I just want you to know that I never meant to hurt you. You're my boy, I only want what's best for you. But I guess I got a little carried away." Dash looked up at Helen to give a smile,
"You'll always be the coolest Mom." Helen smirked a bit,
"Well I don't mean to brag but..." She blinked a bit, surprised by her attitude but the reflection of Edward just shrugged, showing he had nothing to do with that. Helen would then smile, "Your father is making burgers but...what do you say we have those chili dogs you love so much? My treat." Dash's face brightened up a bit,
"Awesome! Sounds great to me!" Helen looked over to Zelda,
"Excuse me! Can we have two chili dogs with fries, please?" Zelda chuckled a bit and wrote down their order,
"Right away, Mrs. Parr." As she delivered the order to the chef, a snicker can be heard from a group of teenage boys at another booth before a voice is heard,
"Wittle Dashie needs his mommy to order his food." Dash sunk his head down slightly, irritating Helen a bit so she stood up as marched to the table containing four teenage boys around dash's age. Along the way, Helen heard Edward's voice in her head,
"Gonna kick some ass?" Helen rolled her eyes and whispered under her breath,
"I'm not gonna pick a fight with some kids. I'm more mature than that." When she approached the boys, she just kept a smile, "I don't appreciate you four insulting my son like that. Don't you have Moms that love you? Maybe you should think more about her before you open your mouths again." Helen then turned, feeling satisfied with herself especially when Dash smiled at her; she even took a couple steps when she heard one of the boys quietly speak,
"Fucking bitch." Followed by all four laughing. Helen froze then glanced at the corner of her eyes at the boys before hearing Edward once more,
"Let's kick their asses." Immediately to be responded to by Helen with a smirk,
"Let's." Helen cracked her knuckles, turned back to the boys, then knocked a glass of water thus spilling it onto one boy's lap. The boy yells out,
"What the hell?!?" Helen slams her hand onto the table,
"Why don't you say that to my face? Or don't you have the balls? I'm starting to think I have more balls than you do." The boy across from the one who insulted her attempted to throw a punch but she just dodged it to allow the punch to be misdirected into the insulting boy's face. Helen quickly grabbed the puncher by the back of the head and slammed him face first into the table. A third boy attempted to throw an empty plastic tray at Helen but Helen had quicker reflexes so she grabbed the tray and threw it right back, the hard plastic colliding right into the thrower's groin, making him collapse to the ground groaning in pain. She looked to the final boy who just looked terrified before she leaned in, grabbed him by the testicles and slowly squeezed, "I've fucked more women than you ever will you little shit. Mock or even look at my son again, I will do much worse." She whispered into his ear before he fainted.
Dash, the waitress, and the chef were stunned as Helen turned to look at them. Zelda broke the silence by applauding,
"You have no idea how many times those punks have stolen from here." The chef joined in,
"I'd love to see them tell their Mommies about this." Helen then spoke up,
"They wouldn't dare." Her voice sounding slightly deeper along with the fact that she felt stirring in her pants, she even found herself staring at Zelda with a smirk but then she blinked a bit, cleared her throat, then returned to the booth with her son. Dash's jaw was practically on the table as Helen walked with a swagger Dash has never seen before,
"Whoa..." Dash managed to speak up, making Helen chuckle,
"Still the coolest Mom?"
"F- I mean....HELL YEAH!" Helen grinned,
"I think you mean FUCK yeah." Dash, once again, is stunned by her mother's attitude but even more shocked was Helen herself but rather than being scared of it, she was enjoying this. She looked over to Edward in the window who simply winked at Helen. Helen kept her smirk as her reflection returned once Edward vanished: she fixed her hair so that rather than looking like a typical house-wife, she actually had a more stylish and almost younger look to herself. The four bullies left the diner making her smirk.
~
Later, the new Helen and Dash stepped out of the diner laughing and sporting the biggest grins but then she stopped as Dash stepped ahead of her. Dash looked back,
"You coming, Mom?" Helen just smirked,
"You go ahead, honey. Go ahead and run on home, I gotta take care of a few things. Tell your father I will be back in about an hour...maybe." She gave her son a kiss on the cheek then Dash hugged her,
"Love you, Mom." Helen smiled softly,
"I love you too, sweetie." With that, Dash ran off at superhuman speed allowing Helen to approach her min-van and stare at her reflection which turned into Edward,
"I gotta say, Helen. I'm digging the new you. I think you are too." Helen smirked,
"You got that right, Eddie. Look...you helped me in there. More than you ever did and so I'm gonna strike a little peace treaty between us. No more of this poking at my mind to get me to let you out. I will let you out when I want to have...a bit more fun that I can't have as myself. But you have to always let me back out when I ask you to. Okay? We can work out how long we have out later but what do you say?" Edward was a bit stunned by Helen but he smiled nonetheless,
"...Sound to me like we have a deal." They smiled at one another then Helen looked back to see Zelda in all of her busty glory with her top two buttons undone to show cleavage. Helen smiled,
"So why don't we have some fun?"

Glad to see you back! Great chapter.
Would be nice to see some flashbacks on how it all started and where Edward came from. You mentioned Helen turning into a teenage boy years ago.
(I'm starting to get an impression that Edward is her early unborn child whose soul lives in his mother's mind now, lul.)

Patience is a virtue. Explanations will come but when? We shall see. I can confirm that that is NOT Edward's origin haha.
