Ashley sat and mourned her best friend, "Oh Shepard...why did you have to die, you're a better leader than I ever was or ever will be, I know I am a Spectre now but I'm not a leader like you, I'm a soldier, I follow orders and carry them out. What am I supposed to do without you guiding me to the battle?" Ashley paced around her cabin observing everything, she didn't have much time to relax until now, she laid upon the bed and sighed, "I'm a failure." She went to close her eyes when suddenly she saw the green light again which made her eyes open before she walked over to her desk and lifted up the Mask, "What the hell are you?" The Mask shimmered again so Ashley put it close to her face to observe it up close; this caused the Mask to stick to her face which made her pull it away, stretching out her skin then it went back to normal after the Mask let go, "WHAT THE?!?" She tilted her head curiously but scared at the same time, the clock on her desk chimed 7:45 PM; she then got so curious that she actually brought the Mask back to her face thus making the Mask leap onto her face making her scream but no one heard her. She tried her hardest to pull it off but the Mask stretched around her head completely. She let out a roar of fright before she began spinning in a green tornado around the cabin as the Mask began to transform her.
