Description Eh... I started this picture ages back when Starcraft 2 first came out, but I never finished it and so it sat in my hard drive half done. The picture was originally much larger as well, but I decided I didn't really like Kerrigan's bare backside that I drew too much. (And I could have probably done more with the colouring, but my interest is dwindling once again...)
Anyway, I sort of cringe at how many errors in anatomy and body poses I can already see that I didn't see months ago, but other than that, I'm pretty much happy with the way Kerrigan and Raynor's faces turned out in the picture.

This pic was basically inspired by the ending of the first Starcraft 2 campaign.

Edit: Fixed Raynor's unnaturally long arm and added some extra highlights and bits to Raynor and Kerrigan with a supposed marine in the background.

I love the emotions. Kerrigan seems to feel safe in his arms. He looks completely focused on the battle.

Very nice. It captures the emotion of the first game's ending quite well. Perhaps you could do one for the HotS ending too? That ending puts a lump in my throat every time.

I think im kind of in Love.

When Starcraft 2 ended, I cried, because they should have ended up together.
As a writer I know its a more compelling story if they dont, and creates more depth for kerrigan as a character, and yet more challenges for them to overcome if they end up together in the next SC2 Expansion pack. OR they may never end up together which is deeper story as a Tragedy. Think Romeo and Juliet vs the Latest romantic Comedy, which do you remember more?
Still I wanted it to end the way you drew it.
So Im kind of in Love.
ThanksΒ

Oo, I really was bummed when Kerrigan and Raynor split again. Felt so bad for poor Raynor. ;_;
Well I was planning on another pic of Raynor and Kerrigan reflecting HotS, but never got around to drawing it. Maybe will get around to it soon.

Picture
You're the queen of everything
As far as the eyes can see
Under your command

I will
Be your guardian
When all is crumbling
I'll steady your hand
--- "Never Say Never",by The Fray

I guess it's pretty suitable here!

Lol
Wouldn't be as suitable for the other Starcraft picture I am contemplating on doing though.
But yeah, it is for this one.

Yay! This pairing still gets love! Seriously, I can't find ANY good fan art of this couple...that is, I couldn't until now .3.

I love how it looks like a traditional painting; there are a few anatomical errors here and there, but, over all, this is an amazing piece.

Thank you. Yeah, I need to brush up on my anatomy more. >_< I get into trouble when it comes to certain angles and perspectives.

The pairing does need more love. (But in most cases, I think, it's pretty hard to find it.)

Anatomy is hard to master, I'm still not that great at it. The one thing I can't recommend more is a book called "Anatomy for the Artist" It's a book that is composed completely of sketches of the skeleton, muscles, skin, and parts of each from different angles, and it is VERY helpful.

I actually started a fan club for this pairing, but, I'm the only member and I haven't added any art or an icon yet

This is nice
but i noticed that the arm, which is holding Kerrigan, is a bit too long.
You did a very good job on the faces, really good <(^-^)>

I know. >_< I was cg-ing the thing like 70% and when I zoomed out, I noticed how long his arm was but at the point I didn't really feel like fixing his arm. I nearly head desked myself. (I'll probably come back to it at a later date)

But thanks!
