Blue

Once I had a dream of a plush dragon which was so awesome that I wanted it to be real. So here it is: Blue.

It's the first plushie I made entirely on my own (including the pattern) And I'm very proud of it.

Pattern made by me
hand- and machine sewn
ca. 2 weeks
head to tail: 85cm
wingspan: 95cm

Oh, i never thought of it the way you described. And I've learned that with small dragons, its easy to use pipe cleaners in their wings, becuase with their fuzz they also stuff a little by the wire.

Lucky you ^^

Next thing I have to find out is how to do an internal wire frame to pose the wings. Propably not for this dragon but for some later projects.

Wow, your dragon looks amazing. Good going for being proud, you deserve to

Question though, how did you get your wing membrane sewn in? Ive never figured that out with my own dragon plushie

Thanks a lot

I'll answer the question just in case another person has the same ^^

The wing membrane is a bit tricky because it's just a single layer of fabric and you can't put it "inside out". I just tried out where I could use the sewing machine and sew the three layers together (bottom wing part, membrane, top wing part). The rest I had to sew by hand using the ladder-stitch (was really time consuming).

I hope I could help someone XD

And I wish you good luck with your dragon. Look's great already
