This is correct. This take on Frisk only did a few neutral runs at worst. Since there’s never been a reason for Sans to fight until now they are unaware of the blasters and thus only have Flowey’s lasers to compare to. And while they so badly want to believe Flowey has changed for the better, deep down, they knew it was possible he could betray them.

Hence the Omega Flowey Flashback.

Also RIP Lancer's bike. I got sick of drawing it, so I blew it up off-screen.
